The long awaited The Bhopal Management Association has been formed and registered under the MP Societies Registration Act, vide Regn. No.01/01/0116584/06 Dtd 22.06.2006. The Bhopal Management Association has been affiliated with the prestigious All India Management Association (AIMA) – the apex Management body of the country.


The Bhopal Management Association’s  Founder Members, who are the prominent personalities from the Business, Industry, Professional and Academic areas, have played a significant role in its formation and have also been elected as the first Executive body of the BMA.

 

Objective

 

"To promote and develop education in the theory and practice of management and related subjects, through meetings, discussions, lectures, research projects, seminars, conferences , workshop , clinics, programmes of studies and to disseminate and exchange information, experience and ideas and to promote commerce and industry and to give necessary guidance to the members in industrial and commercial

activities.

Expert Lecture by Shri T.Karunakaran, Banking Ombudsman on 05.06.10..

Workshop on Summer Project for MBA Students was held on 16th May 2010 in the premises of Permali Wallace Pvt. Ltd. under the guidance of Prof. Prabin Panigrahi of IIM Indore. It was a very successful event. In all 81 students participated in the work shop. It was a full day event. All infrastructure including lunch and Tea etc was by courtesy of M/s Permali Wallace. - The event was totally concept of and well coordinated by Prof. Rudresh Pandey.

A Seminar on Media Management was held on 3rd April 2010. Prof. B.K Kuthiala, VC, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication was the Main Speaker and Shri Rajendra Sharma, Editor in Chief, Swadesh, Bhopal was the Special Speaker.

National Management Day was Celebrated on 21st Feb 2010. The Theme of the Management Day was “Managing India: Turning a Dream Into Reality” Dr. P.K Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Barkatullah University was the Chief Guest, Shri Ashwani Lohani, Divisional Railway Manager, Delhi, Dr. R.S Tiwari Bansal College of Management, Bhopal and Dr. Raka Arya, Professor National Law University, Bhopal were the Guests of Honor. On this occasion awards were presented to the winners of the Summer Project Competition conducted for the students of all Management Colleges of Bhopal.

Seminar on “Sustainability, Quality Management and Moral aspects in Management Education” was organized on 22.12.09. Prof. N Ravichandran Director IIM Indore was the Chief Guest, Prof. Ravindra Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Barkatullah University was the Chairperson. Key note address was delivered by Prof P.K Singh, IIM Indore. Shri P.V Sundaram of GEI Industries Ltd. Bombay gave Lecture on “What the Industries expect from Management Institutions”.

Master Del Pe from China, (International Speaker, Miraculous Healer, Author, Life Mentor and Visionary) gave expert lecture on How to Become a Transformational Leader and on Living Your Greatest Life. Lecture by Shri Moti Singh Retd.  IAS on Unique Identification Number.(UID) was arranged on 21.11.09

Col. AKS Parmar, Director, Disaster Management Institute, Bhopal gave a lecture on Disaster Management on 12.09.09.
