The long awaited The Bhopal Management Association has been formed and registered under the MP Societies Registration Act, vide Regn. No.01/01/0116584/06 Dtd 22.06.2006. The Bhopal Management Association has been affiliated with the prestigious All India Management Association (AIMA) – the apex Management body of the country.


The Bhopal Management Association’s  Founder Members, who are the prominent personalities from the Business, Industry, Professional and Academic areas, have played a significant role in its formation and have also been elected as the first Executive body of the BMA.

"To promote and develop education in the theory and practice of management and related subjects, through meetings, discussions, lectures, research projects, seminars, conferences , workshop , clinics, programmes of studies and to disseminate and exchange information, experience and ideas and to promote commerce and industry and to give necessary guidance to the members in industrial and commercial

activities.

A Seminar on "Labour Laws on Small Scale Industry"  on 1st Oct 2011 at 4.30 PM in the Auditorium of I.T.I, Govindpura, Bhopal. Dr. Vasudev Sarkar, Dy. Labour Commissioner was the Chief Guest. In his address stated that the Labour Laws reflect the policies of central and state govts. Shri Suneel Bhargava, Industrialist and member of BMA gave a presentation on simplification of labour laws with reference to Small Scale Industries.Shri Bharat Patel, Chairman, BMA assured that a memorandum will be send to both Govt. of India and Govt. of M.P on the need of simplifications of Labour Laws in relation to Small Scale Industries. About 40 delegates from different industries and organisations took part in the seminar.

The Indian Society of Oncology and Breast Cancer Foundation, India organised an awareness Seminar wherein Mr. Shartrughan Sinha, Hon’ble Member of Parliament was the Chief Guest 
The program was hosted by Rotary Clubs of Bhopal jointly with Bhopal Management Association.

Bhopal Management Association & Indore Management Association jointly organized AIMA’s SHAPING YOUNG MINDS  PROGRAM On 9th SEP 2011  at Indore. 98 Students & 7 Faculties participated from Bhopal. Mr R Golpalakrishnan, Executive Director, Tata Sons Ltd., Mr Gautam Thapar,President AIMA & Group Chairman  & CEO Avantha Group, General Syed Ata Hasnain, AVSM, SM,VSM & Bar (Srinagar J&K), Ms. Khushbu Sundar, Actor & Producer were the speakers. Shri P.P Khare, Hon. Secretary, BMA was the Moderator for Session IV which was addressed by  Ms. Khushbu Sundar.

Bhopal Management Association organized a Symposium on “Women Entrepreneurs: Problems, Prospects & Innovation” in the Auditorium of Microbiology Department of Barkatullah University, Bhopal on 18th May 2011 at 11.00 am. Smt. Ranjana Chowdhary, Chairman, Vyapam Bhopal was the Chief Guest & Dr. Nisha Dubey, Vice Chancellor, Barkatullah University, Bhopal presided over the function. The Program was concluded with High Tea.


National Management Day was Celebrated on 26th Feb 2011. The Theme of the Management Day was “Building Sustainable Indian Multinationals” Shri Anil Dave, M.P was the Chief Guest, Prof.(Dr.) Anoop Swarup, Vice Chancellor, Shobhit University, Meerut and Mr. Farhan Ansari, Vice President, Reliance Industries Ltd. were the Guests of Honor. Awards and Cash Prices were presented to the winners of the Paper Presentation Competition on the above subject conducted for the students of MBA Colleges of Bhopal.



Seminar on “Sustainability, Quality Management and Moral aspects in Management Education” was organized on 22.12.09. Prof. N Ravichandran Director IIM Indore was the Chief Guest, Prof. Ravindra Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Barkatullah University was the Chairperson. Key note address was delivered by Prof P.K Singh, IIM Indore. Shri P.V Sundaram of GEI Industries Ltd. Bombay gave Lecture on “What the Industries expect from Management Institutions”.
